Whistler Blackcomb – Operations Opportunities
What you’ll be up to:
- Adhering to all operational and safety procedures; ensuring a safe and efficient operation of the lift.
- Greeting guests in a friendly manner, making eye contact when possible.
- Providing a high quality, friendly and cooperative relationship with guests, lift crew and other mountain staff.
- Providing physical assistance to guests when required.
- Establishing and maintaining all operational aspects of your assigned lift, including ramps, mazes, tools and signs.
- Notify Supervisor immediately of any unsafe, unusual, abnormal situations or incidents.
- Notify Supervisor immediately if work areas are in need of tools, equipment or any special attention.
- You may be required to assist other departments as needed.
- Always showing up on time, in uniform, and adhering to the grooming policy
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate our core values: safety first, striving to be the best, and showing that we care
- Previous customer service experience a definite asset.
- Must possess excellent employee and public relations skills and have a friendly and cooperative nature.
- Must be able to reason and react with quick, thoughtful judgment, while remaining calm under pressure.
- Must be capable of performing physical/manual duties and meeting the grooming standards.
- Intermediate to advanced ski or snowboarding ability is an asset
- Proof of clear criminal record check.
