Requirements:

• Educational Background or Experience:
o Possess either education or experience in guiding, instructing, or related fields such as tourism, communications, or performing arts.

• Team Collaboration:
o Be comfortable working collaboratively in a team, specifically with the minibus driver.

• Minibus Guiding Skills:
o Navigate and guide comfortably in a minibus, adept at using a microphone for effective communication.

• Language Proficiency:
o Proficient in English, as all our activities are conducted in English.

• Communication and Social Skills:
o Demonstrate excellent communication and social skills to engage with guests and create memorable experiences.

• First Aid Certifications:
o Hold up-to-date first aid, primary, and secondary care certifications.

• Winter Readiness:
o Be comfortable working in challenging winter conditions, showcasing resilience and adaptability.

• Photography Skills:
o Possess photography skills with a keen eye for composition, adding an extra layer to the guest experience.

• Creating Memorable Moments:
o Have a passion for fostering cozy moments and creating a welcoming space for guests to connect with each other, enhancing their overall experience.

• Adaptability and Learning:
o Display a willingness to learn and embrace new approaches to guiding.

• Nature-Based Transformational Tourism:
o Be eager to work in nature-based transformational tourism, contributing to a deeper connection between guests and the natural environment.

What We Offer:
• A chance to be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to promoting responsible tourism.

• Compensation of NOK200 per hour, however with a minimum salary guarantee per tour, starting from NOK2400. Rates are based on seasons worked at Wandering Owl already and are published internally inalignment with our internal transparency policy.
