Rental Shop Associates are responsible for handling both Cashier and Technician duties. Our preferred applicants will be friendly and outgoing and have a genuine desire to provide a great experience for our guests. Associate staff are trained on Sirius software and require previous experience in cash handling, as well as superior keyboarding and data entry skills. You will also be trained as a Technician. A strong work ethic, positive attitude and commitment to being a team player are core values that members of our team have in common. Training and certification will be provided in all facets of ski and snowboard rental.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Operating Sirius Rental software terminal as a cashier
- Entering data and reviewing contracts
- Ensuring all rental contracts are thoroughly completed
- Greeting customers
- Assisting with customer sign-in
- Selecting and fitting ski and snowboard boots
- Selecting and fitting skis and snowboards
- Maintaining a safe and clean workplace at all times
Required qualifications/skills:
- Previous cash handling experience
- Keyboarding and data entry skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced work environment
- Time management skills
- Professional attitude
- Must be approachable, dependable and a strong team player
- Must be able to deal with people of all ages with animation and with patience
