The Retail Attendant is responsible for providing prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service to customers. A keen interest in product merchandising and customer service is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, efficient & professional service to our guests
- Generate sales and up sell, when applicable
- Daily duties include product receiving, pricing, stocking, merchandising and display
- Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures
- Participate in all manner of store maintenance
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent listening skills
- Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
- Strong knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Punctuality and reliability is essential
- Regularly communicate with your peers & supervisors to ensure the overall success of the department
- Ability to deal with a broad range of people & departments
- Must possess the desire to provide a high level of genuine customer service
- Complete other tasks as assigned
- 1-2 years previous experience in Retail or Sales
- 1-2 years previous cash handling and POS systems experience required
- Strong written and verbal English with a second language considered an asset
Work Schedule: 5 days on/2 days off
Dress Code: Uniform shirt is provided at cost. Employees to provide black pants and footwear in accordance with appearance policy.
