2. Create a UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Account
- Use your email address to register an account.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email—click the link to activate your account.
3. Log In and Start Your Application
- Enter your details as per your passport and supporting documents.
- Save your progress regularly to avoid losing data.
4. Form Sections and Key Points
- Personal Information: Name, date of birth, nationality—ensure it matches your passport exactly.
- Travel History: Include travel details as per Step 1 (e.g., recent trips to the UK and other countries).
- Residential Address: Provide consistent addresses for the last two years in MM/YYYY format.
- Accommodation in the UK: Use a placeholder address like “The Generator Hostel, London” if you don’t have a confirmed UK address yet.
- Financial Evidence: State that you have access to funds (£2,530 or equivalent).
- Duration of Funds: Confirm that funds have been held for 28 days.
5. Pay the Visa Fee
- Standard fee: £298 GBP (as of 2024, subject to change).
- Pay online via credit or debit card.
6. Receive Your GWF Number
- After submission, you’ll get a confirmation email with your unique GWF application number. Keep this safe.
